A Gathering of Gratitude, Story, and Remembrance

Hosted By The Soul Ascension Studio

Join us for a heartfelt Day of Remembrance & Community Feast a sacred space to honor our ancestors, loved ones, and those who came before us. This is not a “Thanksgiving,” but a Day of Mourning and Reflection a time to gather in love, community, and healing through shared food and storytelling.

(12:00–1:00 PM – Arrival & Candle Lighting)

· Light a candle in memory of someone who has passed

· Add photos, flowers, pinecones, stones, or written notes

· Take a quiet moment for reflection before the meal

“We begin by welcoming those who came before us — our ancestors, guides, and beloveds whose energy continues to flow through us.”

(1:00–2:00 PM – Community Meal)

Enjoy a shared potluck-style meal together. 

The studio will provide turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, and gravy. Guests are invited to bring sides, salads, desserts, or beverages to share.

(3:00–4:30 PM – Storytelling & Folklore Circle)

After the meal, we will gather in circle to share memories and stories. 

You are invited to share :

· A memory of an ancestor

· A family or cultural story

· A folk tale or teaching from your lineage

· A funny or heartfelt story that carries meaning

May this gathering be a space of nourishment, remembrance, and connection.

Rebirthing Breathwork Class

Let's breathe together at the lovely Soul Ascension Studios in Vancouver WA. Rebirthing breathwork is a simple yet powerful method that takes you on a journey of deep relaxation and deep healing. The breath can lead you into cathartic release, a nervous system reset and recalibration, profound insights, clearing old stuck energy, or all of the above and more. You never know where your breath will take you but you can trust your breath's loving intelligence to bring you home to your Self.

Aaron Overstreet has been guiding breathwork journeys for over 35 years. As a leader in the Breathwork community. Aaron has developed his own unique style and approach. His intimate relationship with the breath has led him to a deep understanding of its healing powers. He enjoys sharing this work through one-on-one sessions and group events.

A Men’s Circle for Truth, Healing, and Authentic Masculinity

From an early age, men are taught to put on masks the strong one, the funny one, the tough one, the provider, the ladies’ man. These masks help us survive, fit in, and gain approval. But over time, they can disconnect us from our truth.

Through grounding practices, journaling, and honest conversation in a safe circle, we’ll begin the journey of uncovering and redefining masculinity together.

This group is for men who are ready to leave competition behind, embrace vulnerability, and step into brotherhood and healing.

As the long night gathers, we light with intention. In many lineages, winter candles honor the dead, shield the living, and invite good company for the season ahead. In this craft-forward circle we’ll make:

• Ancestor Candle Pair (two tealights or tins): one Release (for grief/weight) and one Welcome (for guidance/joy). We’ll dress with salt, cinnamon, rosemary/fir, and a drop of honey or oil—then write a tiny name/prayer tag to tuck beneath each tin.
   
• Protective House Salt (a.k.a. witch’s black salt) for thresholds & corners (folk-magic blend of salt + clean ash/charcoal + clove; smoke-free use).
   
• Evergreen Blessing Sprig for the door or altar (saining without smoke; quick charm words included).
  We’ll talk practical safety, lineage ethics (what’s shared folk practice vs. closed rites), and close with a simple threshold blessing. You’ll leave with three tools and clear instructions for your solstice or ancestor dinner at home.

Join a circle of women gathering under the rhythm of the moon to honor our cycles, bodies, and hearts through ritual, reflection, and community.

This month’s theme, “Rooting into the Feminine,” invites you to ground deeply into your body, the Earth, and the essence of your feminine nature. Together, we’ll explore grounding rituals, guided meditation, and gentle somatic practices that help you release the noise of daily life and return to your inner home.

What to Expect:

• Closing with song, gratitude, and blessing
