AN INTRODUCTION TO SOUND HEALING

In this 3 hour workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of sound healing and its many applications for maintaining a healthy mindset, balanced, activated and open physical and energy body. 

We will cover the history, science, theories, and roles of drums/shakers, flutes, handpans, gongs, harmonium, shruti box, singing bowls, and voice. After learning the elements of how sound healing works, participants will receive a deeply relaxing theta state inducing sound bath. All experience levels, belief systems and body types are welcome.

Kevin Kraft is a multidisciplinary wellness practitioner, musician, and author dedicated to fostering holistic well-being through sound and mindfulness. He is the sounder and founder of Soundshala (www.soundshala.com), an integrative wellness platform offering a unique curriculum that blends Kriya Yoga, music, meditation, journaling, breathwork, and sound therapy to promote mental clarity, emotional resilience, and inner balance.

 This immersive beginner-friendly breathwork and sound healing experience is designed to regulate your nervous system, release stored tension, and recalibrate your body through the transformative power of breath, sound, and frequency.

Each gathering carries a rotating theme, guiding the emotional and energetic focus of the journey.

May Theme: Commitment to Fruition- This is about learning devotion through what you repeat. Showing up daily, honoring your word, and choosing the path even when it’s inconvenient. Root into what you started. Stay with it, especially when nothing seems to be happening. Under Taurus energy, results are never rushed they’re built through steady devotion.

We begin with a gentle, activating breathwork flow to oxygenate the body, awaken cellular energy, and create internal movement. From there, you’ll be guided into deep relaxation and meditation, allowing the nervous system to settle into profound calm. During this restorative space, participants receive subtle energy support alongside the resonant tones of weighted tuning forks, helping restore harmony at the deepest levels of the body and energetic field. We'll close with some intentional journaling and community sharing.

This class is especially supportive if you are new to breathwork and curious about the connection between mind, body, breath, and sound.

Welcome to the Lotus Meditation Collective, presented by Ground & Bloom. This beginner-friendly space offers gentle instruction, an intentional environment for mindfulness practice, and support for one another along the path.

Through alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation, we practice being present here and now, returning to the island within ourselves. Following practice, we share a brief Dharma-inspired talk and offer time for questions, discussion, or the sharing of experience.

A Ceremony of Heart, Harvest, and Sweet Abundance

Welcome, beloved ones, to our gathering beneath the radiant glow of the Strawberry Full Moon — a time of harvest, ripening dreams, and heartfelt reflection.

This full moon invites us to honor what has blossomed in our lives, to celebrate the sweetness we’ve cultivated, and to open our hearts to receive even more love, joy, and connection.

Guided Meditation & Mirror Work.

We’ll begin with a gentle guided meditation beneath the light of the moon — a journey inward to open and activate your heart space. Through mirror work, you’ll be invited to witness yourself with compassion and love, embracing all that you are and all that you are becoming.

Craft: Strawberry Abundance Salt

Next, you’ll create your own ritual blend — a Strawberry Abundance Salt made from Himalayan or sea salt, dried strawberry, rose petals, and pure intention.

Each participant will charge their blend under the moonlight as a symbol of what is ripe and ready within them — to use in ritual, bath, or as a heartfelt gift.

Sweet Closing

We’ll end our evening in community and gratitude, sharing strawberry shortcake as a symbol of life’s sweetness and the joy of gathering under the moon’s glow.
